Lars Heldre who founded the company in 2007 after having worked in sales and marketing most of his career had a vision to create a real estate company with the same standards and professionalism found in the corporate world.
This is not to say that there aren’t real estate companies that have high standards and excellent agents, but in general independent agents with little guidance and the freedom to control their own destiny will often be held to a lower standard than salaried corporate employees.
Although realtors are independent agents at SuperiorFloridaRealty.com too, our corporate philosophy is to have every agent strive to be Superior in the work they do and to support every agent in this quest. After all, we believe that every motivated worker deep within has a desire to be the best they can be!
How do we stay Superior and live up to our name?
1. Superior in IT (Information Technology):
- We all have laptops and use a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) program to organize our contacts and leads for our clients (None of our agents organize their leads in a shoe box).
- We all know how to scan documents in a PDF format to retain the quality and email to clients as opposed to faxing.
- We practically run a paperless office where all documents are filed electronically for superior organization and quick retrieval.
- We have conference rooms with flat screen TV monitors to surf the MLS together with clients and view presentations.
2. Superior Listing Presentations:
- We only use professional photographers with a wide angle lens when photographing a unit for sale or rent (No photos are taken by us or with a mobile phone).
- We always try to stage the units prior to having a unit professionally photographed, even if it only involves some rugs and plants to add color to the pictures.
- We create professional hardcopy brochures in addition to PDF brochures for easy emailing to prospective buyers.
3. Superior Marketing:
- We have an in-house marketing/promotional department that assists the agents in preparing prospectuses for our sellers.
- We not only do the same advertising and marketing as other local firms, but also advertise properties in Florida overseas to foreign nationals.
- We, that is, most of our agents are fluent in a foreign language and in fact many of our buyers are foreign nationals.
- We are one of the few companies in Florida that understands the power of the Internet when promoting properties nationally as well as internationally.
- We assist buyers with property management services and hence attract many absentee buyers. Through our sister company SuperiorFloridaRentals.com buyers can also elect to have their homes rented out weekly which not only provides an incentive for foreign buyers to buy a vacation home abroad, but also makes owning a property abroad affordable for those who otherwise would not be able to.
- We attract many investors and well-to-do buyers as a result of several years of advertising and referrals from satisfied clients.
4. Superior Service:
- We treat every client as if he or she in fact is also Superior!
- We follow up and make it a point to always respond quickly to a seller or buyer. In this age of technology buyers and clients expect quick replies to emails and phone calls.
- We have a network of handyman and trade workers who can assist sellers in adding curb appeal or help a buyer with renovation projects. As mentioned we are also in property management.
- We stay in touch with our clients even after a sale has closed. Many of our foreign buyers depend on us for tasks such as creating corporations, filing taxes, submitting annual reports, etc. This makes us a one-stop shop and is without doubt one of the reasons that many of our clients become our good friends and refer their friends to us.
